    specs say corvette 327 5.3 300hp

Further upping the pizzazz appeal is SSR's all-aluminum 5.3-liter V-8 engine and the Hydra-Matic 4L60-E transmission - the same transmission used in the Chevrolet Corvette. This four-speed electronic transmission was selected for its durability, low weight and the ability to optimize its electronic controls for performance-oriented shifting.

Damn thats great!!...Definately can't complain..I don't see where a air intake and longtubes would hurt ya though...you would definately see some increase on the bottom end torque with some longtubes...Are you taking it this weekend or something else?
