    Default jdm trans and 04 wrx long block

    i bought a jdm trans and its not the one it was suppose to be and they wont take it back without charging a restocking fee. the code is h5-ty754zkaaa suppose to have 25k miles. its in good shape. asking $SOLD

    the long block out of my 04 wrx with spun bearing.80k miles $300

    yes it is. a guy from australia found a couple there only a few in japan had the tranny. found them for sale out of 99-01 outbacks and a couple were found in australia claimed to be out of legacy spec b's.

    ty754zkaaa means it's a manual 5-speed with an 8-bolt tranny. But then the ZK means it's an automatic.

    i finally found the info on this tranny it is a 1998-03 outback dual range (hi and lo selector) 5mt

    well at least the motor is still good

    the hi-lo selector is great for hilly places. Good price, too.
