Built EJ251 2.5L Motor with Brand New STi Internals, Shortblock.
I bought this motor a week or so ago from one of the member on NASIOC forums I have all the paperwork
EJ251 Block from A 2001 2.5 RS
- Hot tanked and Honed. 99.5 mm pistons.
- Clearenced to stock STi specs.
- Sealed with Fujibond and all new gaskets.
- Good For 400 Whp
The block was built with a brand new STi forged crank, brand new STi rods and pistons, rings, pins, clips, everything... ACL main and rod bearings were used; everything was coated in assembly lube. A standard build with all new internals.
With the short block comes a new STi 10mm oil pump, water pump w/ thermostat and housing, bearings for the timing belt, oil pan baffle and pick up tube, and a brand new STi head gasket set (OEM) plus an assortment of gaskets you may need for the installation of the accessories and such. Block does not include an oil pan or timing cover as you will need different parts for whichever heads you choose to install.
The short block is in great shape and ready to be dropped in. I’m selling it just as it is now. I’m not responsible for an incorrect installation or damages and I recommend a professional install. Basically all you need to get it running is bolt some heads on, set timing, install the timing cover, and bolt an oil pan on with the pickup tube and baffle.
$1800. I paid $2000 for the block I need to sell it ASAP. I would trade this for a decent STI Tranny or Some PPG gears lmk 678-467-7195 ALMIR
