    Default Batlground will compete in Formula D @ Drift Atlanta

    That's right boys and girls, you read right! Both Dan and I will be drifting @ Drift Atlanta this year. We got the invite last week. I didn't want to say anything untill it was all taken care of. We are really looking forward to the opportunity. Of course I am freaking out since this will be the biggest event I have done and my first FD event. I guess the worst thing that could happen is I end up in the kitty litter I thought about turning it down, then I was like WHAT THE HELL AM I THINKING! I think Dan has a great chance of making it pretty far at the event. I am really excited for him. He has really worked hard and he has become a top notch drifter.

    So see you guys there!

    O cool. Hopefully I will be driving on Saturday Qualifying is Friday, so if I don't make it in most of you won't see me drive (but pray for me to make it. I got a new hydroulic e-brake installed an 255 tires on the front now...so it drives even better than before). BUT I know Dan is getting in!!!!!

    Seriously though... I may not know much about the technical aspects of drifting, but I think both of you have a way good shot!

    PS - give me input on my project in the shop owners thread I just made.. especially since I used the crap outta you for my sample user and user bio :P

    Im pretty sure they were the same last year. Alex Pfieffer is actually pretty damn cool in person. I never saw em in person until I shot in Chicago. I found out then Atlanta holds the only two day FD event.

    Yeah Alex is a nut, someone introduced me to him in 2004 and he was more than willing to talk about and show off his AE86...i gave him some zip/cable ties one year to hold on a bumper, lol Then I think it was '05 I hung out with everyone in the Red Bull trailer...good times
