    Question B16A Spoon ECU Question

This weekend, I'm picking up a 90 CRX with a B16A swap. Its got a REAL lol Spoon ECU. What I'm wondering, as I've never really had anything more fancy than a cold air intake, is does the spoon ECU have the things in it to run hondata? Or Will I have to get the chip? Thanks for any input!

you will have to get a new ecu and have it socketed because if its a real spoon ecu its worth alot more intact than if you have it socketed and chipped.

Wow, that was fast!!!! Thanks a lot pal!! Not right now, but maybe somewhere down the road if anybody is interested, and can help me tune it to work better than the Spoon ECU, I'd probably be willing to trade out. After I were to buy a Laptop and what not. I havent been under the hood yet, so as of right now i'm already planning to get a pressure regulator and stuff. So it would have to be after i got all that. Or If its best, I'll just keep the spoon

    Thanks a lot
