    Default Cirque du Soleil

anyone else been to see it yet? bought my girlfriend tickets for christmas and we went today for the 1pm show. the show was incredible from start to finish with everything from flying angels to floating "dwarves" to crazy trampoline acts. it's truly the coolest show i've ever seen live and i think it's well worth the seeminly high ticket prices.

the furthest seats are only maybe 50ft from the stage and the stage is set up in a way that everyone has a great view of it. our seats were 4th row and it was like sitting in the middle of everything, we could see everything going on from top to bottom and the flying cable acts were practically going above our heads as they swung around.

if you have the means i'd highly recommend taking your ladies there .

I have enjoyed watching all the shows on Bravo, and have been wanting to go for years. But never ended up happening.

So this year when Corteo came we got lucky since my uncle is working on that show (supervisor at one of the tents you get concessions and gifts)... So he got my parents tickets to the pre-opening show along with tickets for me to take my sister to see it the opening weekend on a Saturday evening show.

So didn't even have to spend any money on tickets.

It was great, and now I want to see as many as I can in person.

Very wonderful and worth the money.

Oh and I think "little people" is the better term than "midgets"

    lol, changed to proper terms.

and that's cool you got to see it for free. even though i dropped a grip on two tickets i was very happy with the show. they bust their asses to put on that caliber of show and i don't mind paying for it.

I remember seeing it back in the mid 80's. I've been watching them set up for this show for the past month as my route covers Atlantic Station. Later, QD.

I've been to four of them now. We went to the @ atlantic station on the 28th. It was a very very good show don't get me wrong, but if you ever get the chance to see one of there stationary ones, like in Walt Disney or Vegas. Dont miss the opportunity, they seem to be x10 better. My favorite part of Corteo(sp?) had to be the bed jumping

It wasn't bad, but the performance I saw by Cirque du Soleil in Vail, Colorado blew the Atlanta show out of the water.

I was just messing with you man, and if I had the money available I def. would have already bought the tickets months ago like some others that work with me did.

So they were a little pissed that I didn't buy tickets months in advance, then to get them a week before the show

Also it wasn't as "big" as some of the other shows, def. seems they were going for the more cozy theater atmosphere.

Oh and the girls swinging from the chandeliers was my favorite part
