Agreed. Not only do I love the scream that the V2 creates but I also noticed a huge change in throttle response.
Unfortunately I do have plans in the not so distant future to go turbo which will mean the loss of my V2

Ebay intakes work fine for me , basically same design as AEM but piping is tad bigger (at least on mine it is) & costs me only $50 instead of $150+

i like the injen intakes. the injen race division cold air is good, from what i have seen. makes gains as good as, if not better than the V2!

I'm all about the ITB's but J's racing as far as conventional intakes or if you have the money, AIR/Endyne.... (for $1,200 might as well go with ITB's)

Injen for me, although it was listed as a CAI, it isn't really... it's more or less a short ram with some extra piping sucking in air a little further from the motor...

Vteckidd you go to hell with your fancy ITBs!

Unfortunately for those of us that don't own a shop, ITBs are usually little more than a dream.

Unless you own a Corolla and buy a 20v 4A-GE to swap in, then they come stock.

Edit: Also, as cool as I think the AEM V2 is, I believe it was designed to make WAY more noise than power.

Aren't front mount intakes rice. I always thought that they were just made for the ricers that could not afford a turbo, to give the appearance at quick glance that it is a real intercooler?
