There is also a place called CV Source or something, they rebuild axels for 90$.... Believe its off of 85, if you go to a dealership, they will send it to CV source, its cheaper to just take it to them, pick it up a few hours later and put it on yourself.

If you're talking about me, no- but I have had to deal with them before, when I first lowered my celica, I was tucking tire about a half inch, caused the passenger side axel to break because i didnt have new struts- ive delt with them before. They will do you right.

yes apparently the threads on the axel are strripped and it cannot tighten back down.. so when they were replacing the bearings they discovered this! FUN STUFF

I have called everywhere known to man to get an axel CV source etc.. and noone makes an aftermarket axel for the Type S the only source for this is Acura and it costs $600.00

I have called a few different salvage yards trying to get this taken care of and they dont have any either..

    I hate my car

Thats the name of the place I was talking about. They are good there. They can do custom axels also. I have delt with them numerous times for different cars and they always have what you need or they will make you one up right there on the spot!

Nasty ass shop though from all that axel grease!
