    Well dont know if I am a noob so to say, but I am new to these boards. Name is Bobby "Spike", drive a stage2 SRT-4, not really an import, but have a lot of buddies with them, so they consider me one of the family. Just wanted to say whats up...later

    Yea, was my first import back in the day...cant believe I still have the thing...its a 94 Twin T, motor is being rebuilt, and I am looking for some new turbo's, dont know if I will try to run it pro, but should be a head turner non the less..

    But Welcome Spike.... I have to say that the SRT4's are growing on me I havent every really been a big fan of neons (well i like a select few) but when SRT4's came out I changed my mind and I know a guy that has one and its pretty nice

    Yea it is a fun car to drive. I just about have the power I want out of it. To me its still just a neon, you can tell by how far the ass end sits up until i get my coilovers..LOL....Thanks for the welcome.

    funny you should mention that, i think it's hilarious how high they sit in the back. If i had a neon, I'd get coilovers so i could RAISE IT UP higher.

    na. I dynoed about two weeks ago. 315whp/335tq. Like I said, its a daily, so dont want a crap load of HP...I get about 19-20mpg right now, so its good for me...if the car gets out of the shop (getting tuned) I might run it this weekend to see what my numbers are..

    I am not degrading it. I just dont like to blow things up bigger then they are. Don't get me wrong, I love my car. Like I said in the Dodge board post, I have a total of about 17,000 dollars in the car, and I am making a boatload of power for a four banger. I was not degrading my car, I am just not one of these cocky jokers with srt-4's that think I can outrun anything I pull up next to. I race for fun, I dont care if I win or loose. Just makes me want to do more to my car then what is done. I meant no disrespect...my bad.

    no biggie...I can see where you are coming from. Look forward to seeing some nice cars this weekend. I will be there, but not running....check engine light has popped on and cant get it looked at until next weekend...damn I was hoping to get at least one run in..oh well, maybe next year I will....and maybe I will be making more power.

    Yea i have meet some of these guys before. They loose, and it is a crying fest. "I missed second" or "I did not know how far we were going" and my favorite on of all "Well, it is just a neon after all, I mean, you have a v8, I only have a 4banger"....I say just shut up, congratulate the winner, and be done with it...that is my outlook. I was at tunerfest, and I was going to run my car, I got it tuned at the last second. But it started raining 15mins after I got there. I did not even make it into tech before the typhoon hit. Oh well.
