Its ignorant, I get it from other blacks but who cares really? It makes it easier to figure out who I care to associate with and who not to.

edit: I will say there are people who try too hard to "fit in" or "cater" to other races.. I see white kids who are over doing it and likewise some black kids too. (I've noticed some on this board but wont call names) I dont necessarily call that acting black or white, just moreso making an ass of yourself.

^^^^ Agreed, I get " you act white" because I speak very proper, & am very above the street shyt that most black people I know do. Yes I am very much one who says, your surroundings don't make you what you are, you do.

I like how you phrased that....."fit in" or "cater." That seems more plausible, because that's what they are doing. One thing I never understood is when black folks get mad when someone says, "You're acting black." Yet, they turn around and call white people names when they start wearing a style of clothing or using language largely associated with black people. Like the white kids you see with 7XL T's and baggy ass pants running around calling themselves ni99as. That's comedy. Later, QD.
