i have 360 and am gonna get ps3 sooner than later i hope.. not sure which will be better, i think once halo 3 (called halo wars, i think) comes out 360 might be better

I'm happy with my 360 except for the occasional lock up in Madden. I may eventually grab a PS3, but I"m in no rush.. I'll have to see if Blu-ray takes off or not.

Yea maybe for now, they won't be a few months though when some of the more graphic intensive games come out. We'll see though, a kid across the hall from me got the Wii this morning, and it looks like a kids toy, Wii sports is cool and all but it's all animated and cartoony. I definately won't be buying one of those anytime soon.

honestly, i really doubt there's going to be much of a difference down the road.

as for the wii, it wasnt made to out-do any of the other systems. it was made to change how games are played.

I think there will because the Blu-Ray can hold atleast 25GB of data, some can hold 50GB. I think in the future that will be a big deal.

For now I say Xbox 360, although I would prefer a PS3. I have a feeling there will be recalls on PS3's though. I don't think it was ready to hit the market. That's me, I guess we will see.

I played the demo of Motorstorm on a PS3 at bestbuy today and it looked like dogshit. Unless the graphics of PS3 games make some huge improvements it's gonna get blown away by the 360.

i think the PS3 depends on ALOT of other electronics to really be seen to full effect. Im sure there is a HUGE difference between HD an non HD, what cables you buy etc.

I know wiht the old PS2, if you had the updgraded monster cables, the games looked ALOT sharper.

I think MONEY wise, the 360 is the better buy RIGHT NOW. But in a few months, with more games coming out, and more support

ps3 online setup sitll has to go thru all the trial and error, that xbox live did, and xbox live is pretty much perfect now. And sony always gives their system all these promisses but never delivers. ONline gameplay is where its at right now, and playstation is waaaaay behind in that department. its a nice system, but when they broke them down to the games, 360 and ps3 have almost allt he same games besides there 2 biggest hitters gran turismo and halo. And im swayed more towards forza motorsports now, especially since gran turismo never changes its been the same for the past 6 years with GT. ill stick with the 360, and im plannin on buying a Wii really soon. i used ot be a sony fan i camped ou to get my PS2...lol, but they lost me after 2 of them broke for no reason,a nd than i played halo.. it was over since.. and nintendo will never loose its edge always fun all the time.

360 hands down....i havent even bothered to follow the ps3 craze, i dont know what the deal is w/ the 360, back in "the day" i went w/ a ps2 over a xbox, which turned out to be a huge mistake, i took a huge loss and traded the ps2 in on the xbox a few months later and have never looked back, i bought a slim ps2 from a friend when the most recent edition of GT came out, turned around and sold the system less then a month later, i went w/ the chipping route for my xbox using xlink instead of live and enjoyed every minute of it, upgraded to the 360 about 2 months ago and have continued to enjoy my 360

now the wii on the other hand, i hadnt heard of it until my cousin purchased one this morning, i will probably go over and play it just to check it out but i havent purchased a nintendo system since the SNES was out and dont plan on making any changes anytime soon, minus possibly purchasing an original NES system w/ duck hunt and mario brothers

from what ive read since the release date sony was supposed to have 400k units avail for the US, they shipped less than 150k total. the cell processor has a 75% defective rate which is KILLING production and they also had to de-clock the cpu from 3.2ghz to 2.8ghz to raise the defective rate. there are other problems also with the production of the blueray drives, I honestly think sony wasn't ready for their launch but did it just to show they can sell out in 1 day.....nice job sony long live MS

Yeah, right, computer games suck, there is nothing like hooking up one of the new consoles to a huge plasma or LCD tv with crazy surround sound, you cant beat the theater experience and feeling you get when playing video games with a controller in your hand, the whole keyboard and mouse thing on a small monitor just doesnt do it for me.

for all you people who arent sure about the Wii, PICK ONE UP, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! i wasnt sure about getting one at first, but i went with my friend to get his at midnight st nite, he had 2 preorders, and the guys turned the system on so we could check it out before it released, and i was sold immediately. i bought my friend's 2nd preorder from him right there on the spot lol. the gameplay is absolutely addictive, and in the end, isnt that what its all about, GAMEPLAY?????????????? just wait till nintendo releases their next gen graphics console, with this gameplay...OMG, FUCKIN DONE SON!!!!!

Look put it this way, you pay for what you get. I have every game system ever made. I have a 360 and it is nice, but it aint no ps3. If used right there is no system better than ps3. The blu-ray is nice, the picture quailty is nice. The only problem I have with ps3 is that it doesnt come with a hd cable. So I fork over another $100, for hdmi hook-ups, but it was the best thing i could have done. The games look so much different. 360 at 1080p looks nothing like ps3 at 1080p.
