Default Question about real/fake hip hop??

    serious answers plz

ive been thinkin bout this snap music and etc. and if u think about it this KIND of music(dance) has been a part of the hip hop since basically the start? so my question is, is it right to criticize this kind of music? or is it b/c of the fact that its everywhere that everyone is beginning to get disgusted w/ it?

but if u think bout it, this is mainly how hip hop got its start thru the dancin aspect, then eventually it went on to gangsta rap..and now we are sayin that this isnt real hiphop..at least i know im sayin that, but it got me thinkin watchin the bet hiphop awards when grandmaster flash was accepting his award..

I love beats, therefore I love snap music. I find the lyrics hilarious for the most part and easy to learn. Not to mention I spent a year working with ATL's finest. They would know lyrics and dances months before they hit the market, and they were locked up throughout the duration. I do all the dances too, when I'm drunk anyway and I don't give a shit...........

I was the life of the party at my reunion down in FL weekend before last, but I wasn't drunk. Go figure..............

The thing is, though, is that back in the day when rap first came about, and breakdancing was big, rap was actually saying something. They had real things to talk about. They spoke about true shit. Real-life shit. Today, that doesn't happen. It's giving the people what ever they can think of next. Back then, rappers were telling their stories. They were telling what they wanted to say about themselves or life in general. That's my thoughts.

Treacherous Three > Ying Yang Twins all day
Kool Moe Dee > T.I. all day
Kurtis Blow > Young Queezy all fucking day

yea i realize that, and i admit neither have i grown up in the late 70s when hiphop was takin off or been able to listen to their music, but wasnt some of the music when it was in its 'second stage' u can say basically 'dance' music?? i mean like no real story line, just 'dance'..thats what im trying to get at.
