Default FS: Old Pool table - 7ft bar box

I have an old pool table for sale. It is a 7 foot, 1-piece, ¾" slate, bar box.

It has chutes and rails inside the table that take pocketed balls to a (removable) collection tray at one end of the table.

The table comes with two sets of billiard balls, whatever sticks haven't been broken by the rotten kids at the gym, one wooden and one plastic triangle (8 ball) and if I can find it.... a plastic lucky strike pool table lamp.

As near as I can tell, it was constructed in the mid 1970's.

    A brief history:
I bought the table about 2 years ago from a college student who was moving out of the house he rented. At that time the table had the burgundy in the photos. That cloth had to be removed due to excessive cat hair and a hole under the break point for 8-ball/9-ball.

I then recovered the table (myself) with teal colored Simonis 860 cloth (top of the line). Unfortunately, the pool table sits in a waiting area for a cheerleading gym... which means that it has been exposed to children whose parents do not supervise them and at some point the cloth acquired a baseball sized brown stain on it.

Were I buying the table, I would probably eventually recover it with new cloth. Cloth can cost between sixty-to-one hundred twenty bucks depending on what brand and quality you want. You can pay someone to do it, or you can do it yourself (I have a few instructions if you are interested in learning how). I will help if you want, but I'll charge $$ if you want me to do the rails (pain in the butt, they are).

The table is a one-piece slate with independently adjustable feet, so leveling the table is easy. The only tricky part is moving it (I used a 5x8 trailer when I bought it), since it is heavy.

I have included photos of the table with the old cloth and a photoshopped picture of what the new cloth looks like.

The table is located in Cumming, GA (off exit 13). I will take newer photos as soon as I get my hands on a working digital camera.

$400. PM me if you are interested.

Remember, the table has teal cloth now... these photos are from when I bought it 2 years ago.

P.S. The kid unwittingly doing the Zoolander impression isn't mine, he belongs to some friends of mine :-)
