I'm not sure if this is good or bad...
Good that you got it back
Bad that it's not in the best shape

So, I will say both congratulations and I'm sorry!

Just curious, is there something missing that's not visible from the picture? It seems like it would be worth putting back together, unless, of course, you've already made up your mind to get something else.

he's been wanting to sell the thing since i met him like 2 years ago... and now that its been stolen and recovered, i dont blame him for wanting to part it out and get rid of it.

ok, i should clarify that i will be selling the aftermarket parts only.

ok, as far as a rebuild goes, here is my reasoning:

paint and body work need to be back to normal: 3500-4500% (new kit and all new paint)

interior work:1000-1500 (including new mats which are gone, center consol crap, apillar, head unit ect)

for a grand total of 4500-5000 EASY!!! i am not in love with this car anymore, so i am not willing to invest that kind of money.

i am hoping to get 3000 for the stock accord from insurance, and i should be able to sell 4000 worth of parts off it. totaling 7000, i will cut my losses. but 7000 might be a little high, i am not sure.???

That Just Doesnt Sound Smart To Me??? A New Headunit And New Front And Rear Bumpers And You Could Turn Around And Sell It Forprobably More Than $7,000.. + Wont Your Insurance Cover The Replacement Of Your Radio And Body Panels?

PLUS $4500.00 FOR NEW BUMPERS/PAINT AND RADIO?? ARE YOU GETTING THEM GOLD DIPPED HOMIE??

insurance is gonna rape me anyway they can. its a little more than cd player and bumpers buddy. the motor is pretty well shot, its slower than a stock accord. soo, new/ fixed motor, new interior and fix the body work will TOTAL the car man. think from the insurance companies view.

ITS COOL MAN.. I SAID NOTHING ABOUT GHETTO... I WAS JUST THINKING THAT IF YOUR INSURANCE DEDUCTIBLE IS $500 OR EVEN $1000 TO GO AHEAD AND PAY IT THAN THEY SHOULD REPLACE EVERYTHING YOU HAD IN IT.. THAN I WOULD SELL IT..

BELEIVE ME I HAVE MORE THAN MY SHARE OF BADLCUK WITH CARS AND MY INSURANCE COMPANY ALWAYS COVERED WHAT AFTERMARKET PARTS I HAD ON IT...

IN THE END IT IS YOUR MONEY, I WAS JUST TRYING TO OFFER SOME FRIENDLY ADVICE

    Well here's a thought...

instead of claing it on insurance since you didn't have extra coverage, sell the extras, then sell me the car.

I need to find my wife's siter a car, and it's worth more than 3000, plus keep in mind your rates will go up for your next car, plus whatever your deductible is will dcome out of that check they write you.

think about it... I'll even help ya sell it if that would help. Insurance is not the way to go.

PM me is you need some more advice... I've had 30 cars so far and I've done well on all of them and I don't mind sharing some of that advice.

i have a stock perfect condition bumer, and the paint is in excellent shape for a daily driver, just not for a show car as it was. so rut=roe if you want the car in a stockish form, tell me and its yours for a reasonable price. motor, i am not sure whats wronge, i think it could be a simple fix, just hard to tell.

Damn! I'm glad you got atleast this much back man. This is not how I expected it to be found. Looks like they left it together enough to drive it and dump it somewhere else. Suprised your wheels are still on there:confused: . Along with the VAFC, and other things. Is the snail still there? Are they going to fingerprint it?
