They have 2 really nice DVD headunits. I forget the model numbers so you would have to look. But the flip out unit has a 20GB hard drive so you can save music onto it. The double din unit has a 30 GB hard drive

your not going to find much Eclipse online. Your best bet is to just pay the cash and get one locally. For an investment of this much, having a warranty is worth the extra couple hundred.

yeah but see...Circuit city has them for sell for $2400 which is way the fuck out of my price range!!!!! I was thinking more along the lines of 600-800...something thatplays good looks good, for the tuning part i am getting an equlizer(sp) for a manual tune...since i believe that AVN-5000 comes with a built in 10 way Tuner!?!?!?!?!?!

eclipse is expensive, but you get what you pay for. For your price range, theres a decent Jensen unit. I dont know the model number, but I believe CC carried it.

The Panasonic is pretty tight and expandable (ie: if you add head rest srcreens later) I have an older one that doesn't even have the 7 band eq and it still sounds awesome. DVDs sound great too ;-)

if he is right i would like to upgrade the HDD in it also, all you have to do it go to a ipod part website and get a new 80GB hdd slip it in there and bam 4x the storage. assuming it isnt that difficult

The Jensens have a few year old Kenwood (or is it rockford?) internals. No they are by no means an Eclipse, Alpine, or Premier. But for something in your price range. I dont think you will do much better than that new.

    I've got an eclipse navi/DVD player/CD player

It's really neat compared to the other Navi systems and DVD players.

I had to go get this double din piece from the dealer too
