i got it on PC, but i dont like the physics of the game. also w/o a wheel it kinda sucks.
i like how they catagorized the cars now though... exotic, muscle, and tuner
dont take anything i say srsly. its the interwebs.
my roomie is going to get it today. I'll give a report after i play it... i just hope it has some kind of drift mode

I had it on reserve and I picked it up yesterday and spent good portion of the day playing it.
IMO, I like it. Each class of car has a difference feel to it so it actually makes a difference in what class you get not to mention, no particualr car has a edge...which means you're going to have to drive the damn thing.
Not to mention you actually tune the car this go around too.
It's like they took NFS:U2 and Most Wanted and smashed them together.
Finally...somebody got it right.

i played it on PS2 and have it on PC. its a fun game they still do not have it yet the tuning IMHO sucks i like the turning in NFSU2 with the dyno mess with A/F. this go around its jsut picks the brands and low/mid/high and it will effect the TQ or HP not my cup of tea. the GFX there good i was inpressed on the PS2 cause its so old of a Gaming System the videos look good and the game is great however i do believe its too dark on some of the roads. however most time its when im in the cayon so maybe that is why lol.
As for the PC. The game is too tooo Shinny can you say Bling Bling yea it maxes out Video cards. I does anyone else get like a swaying feel when driving your car. maybe its the camra i dont know. over all its fun. i still think they need to do better. WTF is up with putting a FMIC on a GT40 and Garlardo. I know it can be done i have seen MR2 with Front Mounts but i mean come on that is a lot of piping and a long ways to start spooling right?anyways i bought I happy you like?

I wanted this game, but passed on it since I beat "Most Wanted" in like a week.
Well the Story line picks up from NFSMW story line is good and the Cut sences are nice
That last mission in NFSMW was hard as fuck, I still beat it after a few tries though. Im glad it picks up where that left off, Im about to buy about three or four games to have them waiting on me when I get home, Gears of War will be one of them.
I had the Porsche (the top of the line one) maxed out. It took me one attempt with it since it was too damn powerful for the cop cars.
Well this one is even quicker, Career mode knocked off in maybe 8hrs total. Haven't touched any of the challenge events or anything outside of career yet.
Same here, I was racking up cash like crazy on MW. Won the Cayman from whatever # that guy was and used it all the way up until I beat #4 and got his Viper and ran that all the way to #1, bought the Carrera GT and maxed it out and smoked Razor in all 5 races first try. I just wish they would've let me use it for that last sick ass chase LOL.
Oh, and the Carrera GT is a fuggen beast in Carbon too.
Overall, good game IMO, definitely worth a rental since the career mode was so short.

Only cars I used in Carbon were the Alfa Romeo from the start, won the RX-7 and used that til I unlocked and bought the SLR McLaren and rode that out for the rest of the game. I wish I would've unlocked the Carrera GT before the SLR though.
i started wit IS300 played that till i got STI got STI and beat the game
NFSMW was the shit, I have a hard time believing Cabon is gonna be anything less but look what the Tony Hawk series turned in to, after Tony Hawk Underground the entire series went to shit.

I like it, got the collectors edition, I'm drifting the hell out of my RX 7 and my 92 240, its fun as hell to me, best racing game out right now, evo is beast on the game too, beat the career mode with it

Og and more realistic, its 3 levels for cars, like rx8 is a level 1 tuner, rx7 is level 2 and evo, sti and r34 skyline is level 3, you won't see a level 1 tuner beating a lvl 3 yearm unlike the previous you had a ford focus out running lambos
