night video's suck, time for day video!

Edit: If your car is currently being repaired, let me know a little closer to the video date if your going to be ready so I can add you to the list. Currently the list is made up cars that are working and ready to rock n roll.

I want to do an organized day video of various shots around Atlanta and a little racing footage at one of the spots to be named later.

Multiple video camera's and digital camera's will be used to make this video.

10 cars would be nice, but more cars would be even better.

This is an attempt to make a video with various cars both Domestic and Import. Anybody that is "known" to the kills forum is invited.

It will be on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, meeting in Downtown Atlanta first (probably the Varsity)and making our way to the spot. If everyone has enough time I would like to get some video and photo's of the cars at the lake, "if" we have enough time and cooperation.

Some key spots I want to get video of cars driving:
1. downtown atlanta underpass's - it would be nice to get day and night shots of this. The sound of an exhaust going through this section of road is kick ass plus the lights underneath add to a nice shot.
2. driving over the buford dam at lake lanier
3. I have an idea for a camera hanging on a pole from a bridge while the cars come towards and continue under the bridge (just barely above the car)
4. Maybe the Mall of Georgia

Everybody will need to sign a release form saying you agree to have your car in the video without any form of payment.

This would probably start middle afternoon with the video, grab some lunch, and then continue at the spot or lake.

I'm interested, I'm not really known but how will I be known if I don't go out to anything. Well I take that back WINDSOR/Conrad knows me pretty well, I'm sure he'd vouch for me.

I do a lot of the photography for streetfire.net and will bring my gear out. I can bring my EVO or my S2000, I'd prefer to bring my EVO. I'm mostly out of street racing but I'm always interested in photo/video work w/ cars.

yeah dude i'm up for it as long as its not freezing outside (not sure if you are looking to do this sometime soon) and we are not trying to do any racing with a lot of other cars on the road since it will be in the daytime.

my car is also not anything pretty just so you know (just need to paint it to make it look somewhat decent).

I think it would be cool to do something like the Houston videos though if you guys have some good camera stuff.

I'm shooting for around 3 weeks to give us enough time to plan everything out.

Hey, that sounds like a great idea. This is right up my alley. I've actually been wanting to organize the same thing, but it never got into the works. Saturday MAY be bad for me. I'm getting new rear tires put on, which shouldn't take long...but I'm gonna sleep in on Saturday, so who knows when they'll be ready

I also just found out my brother might be coming down to Chattanooga, so I may try to head up and see him.

Saturday isn't a definite out for me, I just can't give you a solid answer right now. As far as I know, Sunday should be good though.

Hopefully I can make it, I'd love doing something like this!

^^Not "this" Saturday! We are shooting for about 3 weeks or so from now. That gives us enough time to round everybody up, plan the route, and be orginized enough to get the shots we want.

I updated the list and edited my first post just to make things very clear.

I am not adding people to the list unless their car is running. If it gets close to the video date and your car is finished, shoot me a PM so I can add you to the list.

Oooops, I got all excited and ahead of myself.

I will be gone for the first two weekends in November. Headed to Las Vegas on November 3rd, and doing a track day down in Montgomery on November 11th.

If I don't break my axle at the track, my car should be good to go on Sunday, November 12th...and the following weekend.

After Thanksgiving, I should have all the time in the world to get together, too.

i should be tuned by then hopefully.... btw.. you should have everyone meet up around 5 or 6am and do it sunday morning... or whenever the sun starts to come out.. less traffic and better lighting.. too much sunlight is no good..
