    you guys dont know about gold rush, its this big tourist festival in dahlonega mainly gay crafts and a parade but i like the greek food, anyway dahlonegas always packed but the loop should'nt be to crowded...

    efman, don't say it's a gay parade...they'll think it's all gay people, LoL. Oh, and if you live up here, you've probably seen it...

    Naw, from what I understand it's pretty cool. My guess is there will be a mini-carshow in the square. Dahlonega has a small non-competitive car show that mostly consists of muscle cars ever FIRST saturday of the month. Some nice cars come out.

    The corps at NGCSU comes out and does a long-ass run in the morning and a parade in the afternoon.

    I'll be running the triangle up here if I can...

    There is a state park in which you can drink (but not legally) that has some nice scenery up here in the mountains...

    Just some thoughts.

    vogal state park at is located were 129 and 180 intersects i havent been there since i was really little but i think they have the little paddle boats and stuff like that

    thanks man, also lake winfieldscott (sp) is on the other side of 180 like 5 or 10miles before it connects to 60 but unless you like to fish or hike the at theres nothin really to do
