    Now let me ask you this. This may sound dumb since the phone is nokia and all but I looked online for the 3220 and it didn't mention being compatible with Sprint/ Nokia which my dad has service with.

    sorry dude...this phone is only compatible with CINGULAR nd' T-MOBILE which is gsm(sim card) phone...for sprint you' ll have to look for CDMA phone. Nokia's will be hard to find for sprint...GOOD LUCK.
