    Thats a hatch, and usually a hatch, which isn't closed in, is called a door. For instance, CRX's are 3 door hatches.

    i think its considered a door if its a hatch door, not just any trunk lid....hench the civc hatch 3 doors

    well technically it is a door i mean anytime ive ever gone to the beach with my family and we had a suv with a hatch we would pack our family in and i always had to get in through the hatch and sit in the back. So i would say its a door.

    sorry guys but they call these cars 5 doors because if they called them what they are they wouldnt sell. a 5 door civic is "cool" a station wagon isn't.

    when i see a 2 door with a rear hatch and its refered to as a "hatch back" 4doors and a hatch is a station wagon plain and simple lol.
