I have the OEM Hid Hella Philips kit paid $320 but i also retrofitted audi A6 Projectors into my housing.

If you just want hids already retrofitted to your housing specs. go ahead and buy the aftermarket-Just understand that your light output is secondary compared to that of Hella/Philips

6000k 7000k 80000k 100000k Kelvin Rated kits will give you color but can produce unfavorable glare and lower output Compared to the D2S and D2R OEM Applications

retrofitting is the only way to go. if the bulbs blow on those kits it is extremly hard trying to find replacments.

^ ESPECIALLY H1...i learned that the hard way.

but H4 and 9006 for example, are easier to get your hands on.

How long to HIDs last, cause I want some and the regular bulbs I buy for my car only last about a month or so.

I paid $280 for my last H. I . D kit, it was great. They were almost as good as my factory H.I.D's in my new car.
