    Default Freaken cats

    Well.. I now hate cats more than I did before.. Yesterday at work I went to medicate a cat which was having breathing problems and pulmonary adema (not enough blood to the heart cause my heart failure).. the cat went nuts on me and scratched the fuck out of me and.... bit my right pointer finger.. so now my finger is swollen and im on high antibitoics.... but, as luck would have it about 10 minutes after the cat bit me.. it died of a heart attack... man what a shitty day...

    ^^^ That was a dumbass comment. Just because you hate cats, and they scratch, people shouldn't own one? The cat was having problems. That's the way cats and other animals when they are sick and being agitated. Later, QD.

    Agreed. If an animal is in pain, it'll hurt whoever. My dog that is very loyal to me, when his ear was infected and I had to try and clean it, he bit the shit outta me. Animal nature.

    Wow, Remind me not to go to your vets office with my cat then, Nice to know you work with animals for a living but hate cats. And how do you expect a cat to act? Im sure it was in pain, and scared out of its mind.... They arent people and the way they show fear is to bite and claw, Id think you would know ANIMAL NATURE with the line of work you are in

    Number one.. I have 4 cats of my own.. so obviously I dont really hate them.. This is my job and I choose to do this.. I love my job and have been doing my job for over 4 years and this is the first time ive gotten bitten... But I can say Ive had more problems with cats than any dog...

    As far as that quote I was being sarcastic.. the reason the cat freaked was because it couldnt breathe.... and It woulda been euthanized later that day because of that...

    Usually we have a pair of leather gloves to use with stressed cats.. but in my situation I really didnt have time to run and get them.. I was trying to 1- keep ahold of the cat not to let it get loose around the vet.. 2-Not to get bit.. and 3- Calm it down since it was sick already.. Unfourtunatly I only acomplished one of those.. I kept ahold of it. Now I suffer the consiquences... Im on major antibiotics and pain meds.. since my finger is so swollen.. and i have 5 puncture marks on it... not to mention the other countless scraches.. Serves me right I guess..

    welp qd - think what you want but i hate cats and i think they are mean animals. plus dogs are just cuter and sweeter and more loyal - my opinion tho

    hmmmm must be talking about different cats (lion, tiger maybe??). my cats loveable and nice. unless provoked then it can get ugly.
