    Default 2257 law (fuck bush)

    anyone heard of this law? its fuckin stupid. Bush is tryin to kill porn. with this law webmasters that deal with porn would have to keep records of every single girl on their site, doc. such as date of birth, name, etc. personal infomation.

    big problem for submitters, as the TGP owners would have to be sent the 2257 documents with every submission. I don't think many TGP owners will want to go through that hassle of keeping track of other webmasters 2257 info for 5 years. That would be over 50 thousand 2257 document records a normal 30 gallery a day TGP would be required to keep over 5 years.

    its suppose to be to keep underage porn of the net, which in that case i agree but he could have done this a different way. the way it was written up was bascially to try to kill porn. I havn't read the whole law but its suppose to affect forums also from what have been said. gonna look into that.

    If you havent read and dont fully understand the law, then why post such an opinion that should be based on the full knowledge of this law?

    I am no lawyer, but it seems like it is not effecting online mediums, only effects media that is not viewed digitally. But hey, it should effect both. And i am not sure how it would completly kill these acts, it will just limit the 'actors' a producer has to select from. Sounds like a raise in profit for the actors if you ask me. The law seems to be good in my books, I would love to see why you think it is "killing" the industry, exactly.

    see thats just the problem, it doesn't affect the producers as they will have all the info anyways. the producers then sell these pics to mostly tgp owners.

    so lets say u wanted to make a site containing nude girls, for every girl u have on ur site u have to have documents to. In theory if you are cropping a thumbnail out of a sexually explicit image you are as stated above a secondary producer.

    Not sure what the TGP stands for, but it's basically all the free daily porn galleries, like worldsex.com, callkelly.com, etc. Dont ask me how I know those sites....
