LOL doubt it, i think this guy really has his own 'persona' only one verse in kanye's song, that wasnt all that hot, but he comes out with his own single that does well w/o kanye...i think lupe deserves some recognition, and like was said gota give him a chance since its not a snap song

Wow..So I was late to work today. Not b/c I was in traffic, or b/c I couldnt find a parking space....I didnt want to stop listening to this cd...When I heard Hurt Me Soul, I was like "Damn, please stop preaching cuz I dont think I can take much more." I was cruising along and the next track Pressure was really good even though I am a self acclaimed Jay Z hater, ok not really just not a "fan" persay(sp?) But when I heard AMERICAN TERRORIST!!!!! My jaw dropped down and I swear if my car had flies in them they would have flown in!!! Everytime somebody brings up racial issues they tend to focus on Black/White relations..This is the first artist/album to mention anything about the Asian railroad building that happened when America was just forming or about the conveniance of the Indians dissipating due to their new found love of alcohol, given to them by the same people that ended up taking over their land....Holy shit I am in love with this album...I got it last night started listening this morning and I am not only impressed I am upset I have to come to work b/c all I want to do is go back in the car and keep listening to it..

She's talking about Lupe. Jay-Z was only featured on one song, "Pressure", and only had one verse.. less than a minute long.. nothing memorable.

Lupe is the truth. Like I said before, give this album a listen... Definitely my favorite album of the year.
