In your case it is likely worth replacing... it will help how your car runs your computer depends on everything working right, mine... not so much.. also fuel economy isnt exactly at the top of my list with this car

i honestly have no idea what could be wrong with the cat...i had a problem with it on my last car but it was obvious that it needed to be replaced (it was loud and i think one of thebolts was loose because it rattled)...but everything seems fine with mine w/my accord. im thinking maybe i didnt get the right diagnostic.
and OF COURSE no matter where i take my car to get checked out, whoever looks at it assumes i am a dumb ass and knows nothing about my car just because i am a 20 year old chick, and tries to take advantage of the fact...

sometimes it really sucks being a girl...

sometimes catalytic converters get leaks... what you need to do is get a block off plate and weld it to your catalytic convertor flange, that way you can eliminate it...

Then its like +20 hp and the car is quieter.

a cat can get clogged amont other things.. then the car has to work really hard to push the exhaust thru. if your ecu says its a cat... its likely right.

Get a P.O. Box in a non-emissions-controlled county and register to that P.O.
