You can put a ca18det or an sr20det in it. I have heard its not too hard of a swap. Good luck on the sale of a really rare car.

You can pretty much swap anything into it.

I'd buy it if I didn't have my POS to build... oh wait, and I'm saving for a bike.

lanekeenan47, ive found motors on the net for as low as $100 and as high as $500. and yes, its like an S13. so you can pretty much drop anything into it.

    Bump

I thought of trying to build one of these for drifting, but suspension components are few and far between. I think the front S13 suspension will work with the car, but the back is completely different. Maybe it's the other way around...I dunno. Anywho...

    Good luck with the sale!

yeah, parts are a little scarce. but your right, the S13 front suspension will work. the rear is different, but ive seen a few of the S12 guys convert to S13 rear uprights. so it can be done.

come on Nate! buy my car!

buy it and drop a KA in it temporarily. those can be had for $150-300 in decent shape with a trans. so total cost would be $800, which is still a damn good deal for a running car thats this rare.

    just a thought.

thanks for the compliments guys. as far as price goes, im not going to drop it that much. do you realize that there are only about 500-700 of these cars left in the US? thats a pretty small number if you ask me.

    nonetheless, still for sale!

if i did, i would. but honestly it would be a lot cheaper to find a friend with a truck and rent a U-Haul dolley. theyre only $35 per day. and if your truly interested in it, ill knock off the dolley fee from the price of the car. and, as an added bonus, ill throw in whatever stock S13 240SX parts that you want (besides the ones in my For Sale threads)!

now, if thats not a deal, then i dont know what is!

Been a long time since I've seen one of these. A good friend in HS had one, he used to love messing w/ the local cops because they couldn't read the car on radar. Not enough flat areas on the front of the car.

I hope those rats died a very painful slow death. If it was not for them I would have bought this car already.

green91, i guess i should have been more specific about what wiring was eaten through. there were only a few spots that were eaten up and it was on the motor itself (ie: connectors with wiring). the harness itself, as far as i can tell, has not sustained any damage. it is complete
