    We knew you couldn't get enough, so here's a second helping of the 2006 Southern Fried season! Don't be the one who is late to the table for this second installment of ATL's favorite practice days.

    With a slightly new format for the remainder of 2006, we hope to bring some new twists to what are already excellent events for you to come out and really learn how to do what it is you all love to do.

    would you all reccomend a new drifter looking to learn and have anyone teach him and no lsd come out and try? or would i make a fool of myself. i have basic drift skills. i have been racing all my life, just new to drift. i have a welded diff i have to go pickup maybe install by then.

    Hey guys, I need a schedule for the SFS series. Let me know if you have one up please. Looking to get some drifters in my new car club to add to the circuit crew.


    Also, Simon, your best bet is it to hit up some open warehouse lots at like 2-4am and practice up. Make shure you are off the main road a bit so you don't get harassed....ya know? I used to do that in my 93' RX-7 and was getting good, until i had to get rid of the car. Sometime i plan on getting another car and getting more involved. These events are pretty good for beginners.

    won't learn much more than the very basics there and you still run the risk of police action. you will learn those same basics in much less time at a controlled event where there's a set course to learn on and instructors available . i'd highly recommend just hitting the event and having fun, ask tony or erik to ride along and instruct and you'll learn a lot in a very short time.

    Agreed, this was an awesome event. I also liked how there were timed sessions instead of lap counts. I finally learned how to handle the Datsun! Woot! Now we need pics!

    I know Dominic was there. We even got some camera footage on the 280Z. Some guy Andrew was out there with the DG crew and he was taking a lot of pics. I'll check the DG forums and see if they get anything.
