Yeah, I said it, can someone sticky it too? I think twin turbo VH45's rule all, but for now, KA-T's and RB20's.
For those that think RB20's are gay, here's a nice little dyno chart of a RB20 of one of our customers, never been opened up, running 14 psi on stock nissan t3 with a small fmic making 368hp/369tq to the wheels, its a monster.
Still has a stock maf, kinda breaks up a little but a Z32's going in.
Built KA-T's FTW though.

wow i have never seen a dyno sheet like that though. most are just a gradual raise that one looks like a sales chart for a business. But what would i know i have only seen a few dyno sheets!!!! i can be wrong!
Graph looks great!How about some tuning.
It's a stock Nissan Z31 turbo, not a rb20. Has a procharger FMIC, so short piping very efficient. He dynoed over a ProSpeed in front of Mainstream, and know the Mainstream guys, he says they couldn't believe it either.
Dyno's don't lie, and why wouldn't anyone fake a dyno like this? He said it was breaking up. But he's gonna redyno next week.

It is an RB20 dyno sheet, just has a Z31 snail.
So what you are saying is that since you can make good power out of a RB(oat Anchor)20 as long as you take that weak ass stock turbo off we should all accept that? Hmm....next time I want to just drive in a straight line I'll let you know.

rb20 is roughly 60lbs heavier than a stock ka. once u put a turbo and intercooler and other shit on the ka it will probably weight the same as the rb20. so ka-t is also a boat anchor.

yea i also have a s10 so go figure! LOL teg is daily driver (somewhat) 240 and s10 are projects. let me ask u a question.... i have seen plenty of true 15 silvias with rb26dett's in them... they didnt come that way so where is there any diference to a s13 with a rb20det when u say there should only be a sr20det or a ka that comes stock in that chasis??

The difference is that an rb26 is atleast a respectable motor.
An rb20 is what poor kids buy because they can't afford an sr.

Why in the fuck am I going to take the balance a 240 has from the factory with an SR20, and replace it with a fucking 6 cylinder boat anchor WITH THE SAME DISPLACEMENT? I mean, WTF. If I am going to slang a boat anchor into a 240 I am at least going bigger.

no sorry dont buy that... there are plenty of r32 skylines rippin ass and they have rb20det's in them. just because the motor is the lowest on the chain of rb20det rb25det and rb26dett does not mean that u can not get major power out of it. just think of it this way if you want to think..... its the cheapest block to start with. only reason a sr is more money is because they are more popular, not because they offer anything more than what a rb motor can produce.

bore the cyl walls and put bigger vrank and pistons, you'll have a stock looking rb20det block with more bottom end.... just the way 350 blocks are bored out bigger crank and pistons and produce well over 450hp

An RB20 is heavier than an SR20, which takes away from the balance of the vehicle, and is still THE SAME DISPLACEMENT.
