As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Also, for the older crowd... are you doing it now? Why or why not?
--> The VERY 1st thing I wanted to be as a 6 or 7 year old was a truck driver. Dunno why, but I was facinated by the big rigs. By the time I was 10, you couldn't tell me that I was not gonna be an astronaut. By 15 I was going to be a pilot... and through Civil Air Patrol that came true. I planned on becoming a commercial pilot though after I got out of the military. Somewhere between joining the Air Force (in 1997) and the year 2000, I changed from a flying position to communications (Info Tech).
For YEARS I was upset at this decision, but when I see what pilots make (the ones that are not on strike and aren't laid off) I make pretty close and I also have a HELL of a lot more job security. So yeah, I am doing something I TOTALLY didn't plan on doing... but hey, it works. Funny how life throws you curve balls.

. I always wanted to be the first woman president. From the time I could talk (my mom says) until I was old enough to be embarassed (which was like 14) I used to ask every one I knew if they would vote for me if I ran for president. I figured it was a long shot but if I asked every person that i ever met and they said yes.....when I grew up they would have to vote for me because they would remember that they said yes when I was a little girl. i used to imagine this bullet proof suit since obviously everyone would want to assassinate me. It looked kind of like an astronaut suit. It had like bubble helmet and the rest of the suit was shiny and bullet proof.
. Since ninja's arent real im an AutoCad technician.
