Default new wheels.. but i think i went to big on tires :(

Baught some new rims.. or used new to me ...
I think they are the only black Volk Se's on an Accord (anywhere!?)
I've never had 17's so I didn't know what tire to Run.
    i ended up going with the Es100 225 45 17!
Yokohama is on back order for the 215 45 17 ...
and kinda regret it now cuz they big!! So gonna
swap em out for some Toyo T1R's next week... thaught i'd share atleast
let ya'll see what i'm workin with..

BTW unsprung weight FTL... even with the
    LIGHT VOLK SE37k's (sub 15lb 17's) i noticed a big
change from the 16 and 15 inch TE37's.... but those will be my track wheels now....

Anyway, this is how she sits today:

nice. I'm thinking you mear a little to thick? they are a little taller than most people run but the car looks bad assed. your set up is going to ride a little better though.

the tires width is just fine. it stands a little high cause you need a lip kit, or maybe smaller rims.

Yeah, i was debating going with the 215's.. they look good on your car BTW. I don't mind the big tires, I like the smoother ride and the comfort and protection of the wheels. But the 225's on these wheels are a little too wide.. I can't slam the car and on really hard dips and driveways taht dip i scrub a little bit.. Goin with the 215 45 T1r's this week!

btw here it is with the old wheels

yo man, car's still lookin good. but imho, the toyos arent the best tire out there.... i've to the t1-r's on the teg right now and hate them. too much sidewall flex. the yoko's have a much thicker sidewall, thus do not flex nearly as much. i also recomend bfg gforce sports... i ran those for a while... but yeah man, i hate my toyos... just a little inside info

well damn it.....now u tell me. I was going back and forth tryin to deside between them. I got some good recomendations about the toyo's so i desided to go with them.. it was those and the bfg's
    .. crap

what size toyo's are u running? I wanted the ES100's in 215 45 but they are on back order!!!!

    New tires are in.... 215 45 17 Toyo T1R's
I like them so far, they do lean a bit more than the Yoko's because of a
tad softer sidewall, but nothing a little adjustment to the shocks couldn't
fix. The rid is nice and i get way less bump stear with the narrower tires
and it doesn't looked all jack up with the ride height.....and less unsprung weight
    yay...

well the deal is, Discount tire ordered the first Yokohama's and then
they said I could swap them out for the Toyo's sense i wanted the 215's and teh Yoko's where not available... all in all i paid 675 for the Es100's with road hazard etc... then had to pay another 160 bux to swap them out a week later because restockin, laybor, and road hazard for the new onez..

to much all together... live and learn i guess. I should have drove the heck out of the yoko's.. either way, thanx Mike for helping me out @ Discount Tire.
