    Default Have you ever........

Have you ever lost something and found it, but had to pay to get it back????

My story: I made a mistake rushing one morning and put the faceplate to my car (the one I wasn't driving) in my pocket. I realized it when I got to work and took it out of my pocket and sat it on the side of the computer screen. Thats the last I remembered seeing it. I forgot all about it for at least 3 days until I drove the car that it should've been in. When I got back to work, I was looking for it and couldn't find it.

I thought to myself "well, maybe I did take it home" I searched high and low at home and just never found it. I sold the car and had to take the radio out because I didn't know where the faceplate was. I asked a friend if they knew anyother options other than going to Sony to get another face. He told me about a place on Candler Rd. that has alot of faceplates and radios and stuff.

How about I went over there yesterday and guess what I find??? MY EXACT FACEPLATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know its was mines because it had the same small scratch and I marked it. Secondly, hardly no one, especially not in that area, sold the model radio. I questioned them on where they got it from and everything and the chick said "we get stuff in all the time" I was SOOOOOO mad that I had to pay $40 for my own faceplate.

I have an idea as to who took it there and sold it to them, a guy who used to work with me. He was that type of guy and he lived around the corner from this shop. Theres probably ALOT more stolen radios (w/no faces) and faceplates in this shop. AUDIO SURGEONS IS THE NAME. There had to be at least 100 faceplates and my be 25-30 radios with no faceplates.

I believe the guy stole my face and went there looking for the other part. He was always saying he needed to put another radio in his truck. ARGGGGGGGG!!!!

yeah low life peeps, my brother left his phone in a club, called it the next morning and some guy picked up the phone.

Homeboy wanted $100 for the phone.

My brother ended up claiming it lost on his insurance.
