    Default SON OF A...!!!

ARGH! Just got in at 5am and need to dry clothes that i washed last night and the dryer isn't working! I gotta be to work early too! This sucks, i've reset the breakers, checked the lil switch on the door and can hear the relay flip, and can hear the timer working too...it's just the starter button doesn't do anything! Grrr...It's way too early to be taking 220volt things apart otherwise my roommates might find me well-done on the laundry room floor [/rant]

    hair dryer ftw

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.

lol, yep reset the timer over and over, i could hear it working each time...you know "tick tick tick tick" like a bomb. Then i could hear the relay click when i'd push the door open/closed button...

I guess the dryer is OBD0 because i couldn't find a diagnostic plug anywhere I know it's getting power, air, and fuel...it's gotta be the starter but i couldn't find it to beat the shit out of it with a hammer

i would take the heater flash code wire, and then unplug the main relay harnesss, replug in main relay harness, try without heater flash code wire, then re wire the heater flsh code wire (very tightly for a good connection) then try manually connecting (not pushing button, but taking apart and finding connections)

Did you empty out the lint tray? Most dryers will shut off if it's full, to prevent fire hazard. I had to do that to mine the other day cause it wouldn't turn on.

I wish it was that easy! This dryer is like the LS, no RS, of dryers...no sensors & nothing automatic...it's fairly new but might as well have pedals and a chain. I religiously clean out the vent anyways, i've seen fires from that and know what can happen...one time it had three layers on it and i drilled it into everyones head that i'll put a lock on it if it happens again.

sure its not the clutch engaging? could be that. I've had a dryer make the noises that it wants to start and such but the clutch was burned badly...sucks, but like Clark Howard says "if it costs more to fix than to buy another, then [ditch that bitch and get a new one]" lol

being serious about the clutch thing too. oh and plus uno.

Jason, I'll sell you my dryer! It turns on! It may not heat up, but it does a damn good job at taking about 12 hours to dry 1 load of clothes!
