    Default who to call ????

Who do ppl call to find out if a motor is stolen or not?? Like does someone have a # for the department that deals with things of this nature? Some help would be greatly appreciated. I run into alot of ppl that has motors for sale , but im always skeptical about buying them. Thanks for the help.
