Cheese Blintz (recipe) mmm mmm good!!!
Ya so i've only had Cheese Blintz one time before at like Ihop years ago, and last night i decied i was going to come up w/ my own recipe for them. Made them last night and they fucking ruled, recipe as follows:
what you need for blintz for 2:
- pack of philly creme cheese
- pint of cottage cheese small curd
- pankage mix (eggs if needed)
- cinnomon/sugar
- carmel syrup (smuckers)
- bannanas 2 large ones
- walnuts in syrup (smuckers)
- sausage jimmy dean ( you always have to have sausage w/ pancakes)
cooking:
- mix creme cheese pack w/ 1/2 a pint of cottage cheese
- mix in cinnimon/sugar 1/4 - 1/2 cup as needed
** make sure chees is whipped up at this point **
- cook up sausage
- make (4) 6" pancakes
- stuff pancakes evenly w/ cheese (lay scoop of cheese and fold over)
- drisel carmel over pancakes
- top w/ bannanas & walnuts/syrup
- plate put in oven @ 350 for 2mins
serve and enjoy!!!(most of the time you see them server w/ berry or berry glaze on top, you an substitute topping w/ whatever)
