Default Adding a lip to a wheel?

Is it possible for me to add a lip to a rim? I have some wheels that are 17x7.5 all around, but i would really like my rear to be 17x10

Does anyone know if its possible, and where and how much? Thanks a lot

Yea Paul I saw the same thread on vortex where some dude added a lip to his steelies. I was wondering if there was a place around here that would do it and how much it would cost

you could do it on any type of wheel, but the chances of getting them put together and straight are slim and if you cut/weld an aluminum wheels odds are it'll break in no time. buy real wheels, it'll end up being cheaper.

they basically cut some rims in half and that and welded them wider

Cool, thanks for the info. The problem is, i can't find those wheels with those offset. They only come in 17x7.5

O well, i just wanted to know if it could be done. Thanks for the info and the input

Its not being cheap you stupid son of a bitch. It's asking a fucking question.

What if there was a set a wheels that you really liked but didn't have the offset you needed, wouldn't you ask questions?

I already have the rims, so being cheap and buying rims is not the problem at all. Finding a bigger lip for my rear is the problem. I'm not gonna settle for something i dont want
