    Default Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift!

    So yeah I've always been A fan of the Tokyo Xtreme Racer series! They Last one, Zero I still play, even if it doesnt have any Hondas. But The New one has tones of makes and model, With the title being Drift you kinda know what its about. The game is ok but the older ones are much better.
    1. Takes to long the get thing rolling, as far as money and parts
    2. A little to much shit to do
    3. You have to "Drift" with FF cars, and get judged
    4. The suspenion and handling set is worthless, the cars still handle the same
    5. and the music sucks like all the TXR games.

    New the game is only 20 bucks, but I think its to much, I own it and I play it but I love the series. But TXR Zero is still the best!

    downloaded it for free . love modded boxes . The game plays EXACTLY like a game that has been out in japan for a while that i also have a copy of...anyways, i find it to be pretty fun to pass the time. Although, i still perfer to play the jap copy of Initial D.

    Correct. TXR Zero came out first and did have Hondas. However, the game didn't have the license for the car companies so they all had ghetto-fabbed names. TXR3 did get the licenses from most of the car companies but Honda was not one of them.

    zero had hondas. they ducked the official names and used the motor codes i.e 1jze. this is still one of my favorite games. to bad they wouldn't let you use spray.

    I'm still waiting to play TXRD But Zero had Hondas. The Main title car was a yellow NSX (and blue Skyline). And they had the EK (I think). I know it was one of the hatches. But yeah, they didn't have official liscense. But, how many hondas do you REALLY see on the Wangan. I mean, seriously. How many Hondas are you REALLY going to see on the Touge. Funny enough, I would expect to see Hondas on the touge cuz it's a more low speed high torque kind of racing, even though TXRD is more (all) about drift. It's more believable to see a Honda there than doing a top speed run on the highways of Japan.

    And has anybody played TXR3. It looked like it was a bowl of SUCK juice. And every review i read said it was a big bowl of suck juice. But i don't know anyone who actually played it.
    oH, and does anyone know of anyone here or anywhere here to get conversion chips for your playstation so you can play foriegn games (although I don't think you need it for 2nd gen PS2's). I had one while I was in Kuwait, but I sold that PS2 and my other one doesn't have it.

    The game is decent, I just hate how long it is taking for me to unlock the FD3S. The EVOIII is the best car I have right now... I should buy an NSX, but i keep waiting.

    Its already been said but at best buy for 10 bucks. Its a good buy for that cheap. I have almost beat it just a few more racers and 100% done.

    ....yeah, I just unlocked the FD rx7 twin turbo, so now i am enjoying the game much more. Evevry game I get that has the FD, getting it is my first goal in the game.


    What's funny, is that I watch the movie "Intial D" and then start playing the game, and i feel like I am playing the movie. LOL "Initial D" the movie is a great buy too. I rented it from blockbuster and then just paid an extra $9 to keep it. It is probalby the best racing movie, too me.
