    Default HOW THE FUCK DO YOU BLOW A D SERIES UP????!!!

    Well, i finally destroyed my little 90HP daily driver, i forgot to check the oil, DOH!



    Josh green helps me pull out the donor motor


    in the past 3 days ive pulled my blown motor out, pulled the donor motor out, reinstalled the donor motor into my car, put full interior back inmy red crx, changed my GFs brakes on her EG hatch, an put axles in a customers car.


    im never working on cars again

    i did it running a 80 shot on my d16 after suckin up water with a slight rod knock

    It blew because you were driving it. Hey according to someone that will remain nameless you can just weld that right up and it'll be fine.

    Just curious, how many miles were on it? How long did you go without checking the oil? did it burn/leak oil?

    it burned oil , i forgot to check it, cause its a D serie,s they arent sposed to blow up

    yep when you RIPPER open you can just weld it right back and have a perfectly fine block once again. No problems at all, even if it scored the journals on the crank shaft beyond recognition. lol. Well at least you had a spare laying around and it was a D series and not a B. CHECK YOUR FUCKING OIL, FTW. *unless your oil pump failed and then it is absolutely without a doubt not your fault*

    I agree. and make sure to double check the welds on your intake manifold while your at it

    80 shot is not what killed it. I know guys that have ran 100+ shots on the D. Does NE1 know of a honda motor that can take more spray??? Doubt it!!! LOL. Seeing blown Ds is crazy, it just never happens. Congrats Mike... retard!!! LOL.
