    Default Shipping a Camshaft

What do you guys think I should do.

As it stands now I may just buble wrap it a little, and then wrap a peice of cardboard around that and tape it around. (its about 2 feet long), ~20lbs?
maybe 2-4 inches wide, tall, tops

What do you guys think i should do?

I'm having it ground so if it breaks during shipping im gonna blame it on the cam ppl LOL i just want to get it there as cheap as possible.
    USPS Flat rate box?

UPS? <-- what I might do, because i'm not feeling like an asshole today

You should quit cheating on stuff and quite blaming others for your shitty ass packing job first of all. And then worry about the packing part.

I would send it out wrapped up real good... no spaces between the cam/packaging and outside walls of the box so it can't move around at all. Then... consider getting some shipping insurance for what the cam is worth. Shouldnt be too expensive and neither of you will get fucked on the deal. That's the BEST thing you can do because you dont know what happenes "behind closed doors".

a friend from new york sent me a headunit a few years ago and it definetely had enough packaging around it... the day i got it at my front door it looked like there was a footstep on the damn thing. Sure enough... somebody stepped on the package and broke the faceplate off. 3 hours and 2 tubes of super glue later i got it working, but it wound up taking a shit a few months later.

Goes to show that you should be careful.

I suppose? The price of the cam would be covered by the mailer if it was broken during transit... I have no idea what exactly you were trying to get at.

I was thinking about sending it thru flat rate mailer, in case UPS tried to charge me like 30 bux or somethin... but UPS was straight so i'm good.
