Hey you all Jeff and Jason are having Dyno Day at Prospeed. Maybe we all see you there.

Event Details: 1st come 1st serve; Hang out, Relax, and Enjoy Food and Friends.
Price: $45.00 for 3 pulls
I will be in Birmingham at the races instead.... maybe next time. I've been wanting to go out there and check it out.

They don't happen to have an AWD dyno do they?

lol mine will be the 91 red GT out there without the motor heh. Gonna be up there for another 2-3 weeks.

dang, i might still swing by, being that it is on this side of town.
I was able to make it by here, fairly late though. It was after 4:00, so I guess I missed the "event."
Anyway, it was nice finally getting my car on a dyno for once. Just wanted to say all the guys I met at ProSpeed seemed really cool, and I appreciate you all for testing my car out for me. I may have to stop by that shop more often (if I'm ever out that way again).

When did you car go on the Dyno?
I can't remember exactly. I want to say about 6:45. The printout on my graph shows 7:00, and they did one pull after that.

I had rolled in unexpectedly to get my bottle filled. I saw all the mustangs and was like oh...wow..Stuck around for about 10 minutes or so but had to go.

I don't believe I got to officially meet you either, although I'm pretty sure I saw you. You had a shirt that said something like "It was My Evil Twin" or something like that, right?? I thought it was pretty funny.
Sorry I didn't introduce myself. I really don't know anyone from these boards and didn't know a single person up there at the shop....so I was kind of quiet lol
I was the guy that showed up late in the blue Corvette. You will probably remember my car, it was the ONLY car that wasn't a Mustang there ha ha. I had Rick with me, too....if you know him.
I was actually checking your car out, because I love Mach 1's. I've got a friend named Deon who has one very similar to yours, and I just think it's an amazing all 'round car. If we do an event like this again, I'll make sure to introduce myself next time. Tell all the guys up there I really enjoyed myself and thank them for me, if they don't read these boards!
Hell yes i saw that vette. My boyfriend and i walked by and said you gotta respect a nice car. that color is sweet. My car was filthy dirty, i was a little embarrassed. Jeff the shop owner is super nice! I wish you would of come said something to me i would of introduced you to everyone... ask Nemesis, i dragged him around the shop while they filled his bottle.
And yes that was me with the evil twin t-shirt. it is a running joke with the folks over there, cause i rarely EVER get mad or talk any smack...i kinda let things roll off my shoulder. I love to joke around, but nothing mean. Well then as the story goes there was a guy, plus one and his girlfriend that kinda pissed me off on SCF. It started because one of them really crossed some lines with me, my friends, became threatning at one point, one of them called me a name, kept busting on me, my car, my tune and finally i got a little pissed and well i slammed him and his croanie(sp?)! Had to keep those guys from the shop up there as well as the boyfriend from finding him and having "a talk" with him... But I told them "i got this." So they laugh cause they were shocked at me saying something to him. I tell them it wasn't me, must of been my evil twin, ok maybe it was but it was that country girl coming out in me.
i also know Deon... he and i talk all the time. He has a kenne Bell on his Mach1. Instant boost!
Chip Foose is having a Year One Charity Event at Commerce June 17th.... so maybe you can try to make that event.... i am going to try and go.

When you are talking about the person from SCF, are you talking about "sportscarforum"??? That's the forum Jeff, Rick, Deon, and I started....and I can't think of anyone there who talks smack or is rude at all. I certainly hope it wasn't someone from our board...I'd be pretty upset!!
I'll keep an eye out for the Year One Event, we're always looking for shows and events to go to. I think we're going to a car show down in Atlanta this weekend.
P.S. Don't be embarrassed about the car, it was looking pretty good. I was still giving it a walk around, and didn't even notice the dirt. Mine got pretty nasty that day too, so I was in the same boat as you! ;-)

June 17th Year one is going back to the track to host another Year One Street Car races. The race will take place at Atlanta Dragway and we'll have the OPEN, 10.0, 11.0, 12.0, 13.0 classes.

Very cool. Deon's pretty good about keeping us informed of events, so I'm sure we'll be there.
I need to take my car to a track one day, anyway. Just so I can run some of the worst numbers a C6 Z06 has ever posted in the quartermile
