New Altima GTR and track attack Mitsu Diamante
Everybody's been talking about the Skyline GTR that's supposed to be here by the end of the summer for the 07 sales year. But, what a lot of folks don't know is that Nissan is also making an Altima GTR for the states. It's lines are rather similar to what we're used to seeing, but it will of course have a few new styling cues and get a different motor than the regular Altima. Me thinks a boosted VQ. From what I've heard, Greddy is already in the works with some performance upgrades. But, that's all rumors.
Also, with the refinement of the next Evo, the Evo X (x, not 10) Mitsu has apparently decided to put together a track attack Diamante. From the looks of it, it will be powered by the 4g63 and be treated to a widebody kit. The splitters on this vehicle are a bit unconventional but...enough talking. Here's some spy shots of both of them.
I really wish you could've seen the front. The (fake) intercooler stuck out at least 1 inch past the bumper.
AHAHAHAHAHAHA. The best thing about the Diamante, the guy didn't know we were making fun of him. I wish the pics came out better. This was really the only one worth showing. The rest were UBER blurry...cuz he was going so fast....
