    Default Question to everyone...

    Has anyone heard of a guy in Mississippi impoprting Skylines, making them legal, and selling them.

    My friend says he knows this dude that can import an r33, legalize it, and sells it for 16k. He also said that he can get r34 for 20k. Just wondering if anyone has heard of this dude?

    oh you talkin bout the dude in alabama right? I think he can get r34s for like 20k. I dont know, he somehow makes them legal, if we're talkin bout the same person I know him well.

    There have been lots of changes very recently with the importing of Skylines specifically...my friend had the link somewhere, but I cant remember where...

    Motorex was shut down since they lied about which models they tested, so in theory, even the ones they passed could one day be in jeopardy. I'd just hate to spend 20G's on a car that I coudln't drive cause it was seized by the gov't.

    from last i heard R33 and only certain years can be imported and legalized in the US... the guy from Motorex went to jail over this already

    The R33 is the only vehicle with the crash testing completed, therefore it's the only true "legal" one, but there are always loopholes.

    Not sure how someone can import the R34's that cheap if they can't even be purchased and exported for that price?
