me and my friend were going home from sams on saturday on hillside rd yesterday when some girl in a maroon eclipse crosses the double yellow and blows buy us in the middle of a turn. and granted we were going about 45 in a increasing radius left turn we thought that girl was crazy. we followed her on to this road that ends up on a farm and decide to go up against her. now my friends car is a piece of shit compared to that eclipse, it was a spider v6, and it probably had some engine mods cause the interior was fully customized, with 2 tvs. all my friend has is a busted up integra with a new transmission, intake, and a lightwieght flywheel. so we decide to pass her and she puts her foot down trying to block us but she must have a turbo or something cause we pass her and about a second later all you can hear is the sound of a turbo spooled up and tires screeching through the turn.she looses us in about 20 seconds.
if your on here then nice car i like the interior, good job on the car control i saw you loose it and get it back , thats when we decided to go home

the GST comes with a T25 so does the GSX but the GSX is AWD the GST is just front
all GST's come with a turbo.
Eclipses are RS, GS, GS-T, GS-X, the two at the end are turbo models.

oh thats tight, i knew about the GSX not sure on the GST, is it the same ?4dg3? motor?
Now the new body style eclipes are slow stock...and none are turbo and the best one out of those is probably the GT...but its just a V6..
The new ones are slow, they arent that popular though, I think thats why Mitsubishi is dieing.
Mitsubishi isn't dying...Hell they have the Evo which is my daddy...and with the one they are coming out with that i saw at the auto show its going to be badass. The new elipse concept looks ok...but isn't something I would buy.
Trust me, if that company goes under, it wont be because of the Eclipse....LOL. Takes more then one car to make a copany have troubles. The new one that is coming out this year is still a NON TURBO but nicer I think than the current one. But with them making the EVO they dont want the Eclipse to have a Turbo to compete in the same price range as the EVO either.

I personally would not by the 06 eclipse, the EVO 9 hell yes, if i could afford it.
I wouldnt buy the EVO 9 regardless, Especially when in a year the all new EVO X wil be out and it will be all new and faster
