    Default preventing damage

    i was just wondering if anyone hand any advice on the best ways to prevent your sub, amp, speakers, etc. from getting damaged

    damaged as in physical damage? or damage as in mechanical damage?

    mechanical damage. i fried my last amp and i still dont know how so i want to make sure i dont make the same mistakes twice.

    no power in the system when playing with wires
    have everything secured down so it doesnt move
    double check EVERYTHING before you put power to the system


    I know theres more, but you get the idea.

    Setting the gain correctly with a meter, setting the filters and croossover point correctly etc
