ok, i finally got my pics edited and here are a few for a little preview. i've got a lot more (150 or so) that will eventually make their way up on the main driftMechaniks gallery but you can check these out for now.

Are people still complaining about the Doemstic cars winning?
everyone seems to be cool with it now which is nice.
and el, unfortunately the nikon never did start working again on it's own but tech support was great and got it fixed in time for the event. it's as good as new now!
those cars are all sweet minus the gto. That what to expect may 7?

"The 1911 is a collection of subsystems that must work together. Each part must be prepared and fit properly not only in and of itself, but also with regard to the other parts with which it must operate for the gun to function and appear as desired."
i've got the standard nikon 18-70 that came with the kit and then a cheapo quantaray 70-300 (it does the job alright though ).
oh, and a lot of those cars will be the same for ATL. there are 20 pre-seated drivers that are automatically qualified for each event and then 10 more that they'll pick out of a group that has to qualify the day before (those will most likely be a little different from the NJ crowd though). oh, and not sure what's wrong with the GTO because it's freaking badass. it sounds, looks, and drives amazingly, and will most likely take the series this year (however that has a lot to do with the fact that millen is an incredible driver, but the car helps).

Nice Pictures! The GTO's are nice, my neighbor has one and they sound so sweet as a sunday morning alarm. I love that 2nd picture it looks nice as hell. BTW was it me but does that BMW have more body roll than any of the other cars. But its cool too see a BMW drifting never seen that before. And wheres the Vipers??
^^^ speaking of, how did ol' andy do?
there were 2 vipers out there (1 was driven by the judge tarzan just for exhibition and the other was driven by sam hubinette but he got knocked out on the first round).
the bmw (which is driven by my friend andy) actually doesn't have much body roll, but that picture does sorta give that look. he did really good by the way, but due to a slipping clutch didn't make it on to the next round (plus he was way underpowered compared to most of the cars which made the 1st banked turn quite hard for him). for those that haven't seen him, there are plenty of vids up on our site (www.driftmechaniks.com) so check them out if you get a chance (or just come out to FD atlanta on may 6/7).
Did any of the drift spec 05 mustangs that i have seen around make it to this event?...I'm curious to see how the perform.
not yet, ken was the only one out there at that event. JR's (team falken) is supposively done/getting finished up but wasn't out there just yet. hopefully he'll have it soon though, can't wait to see how it does!
