Default 2005 WRX STI HID KIT

Since I won't be using it anymore since i have no other car to put it in.

Removed from a Salvaged 2005 WRX STi

Matsushita Ballast d2s/d2r, with d2r bulbs (rebased for 9006 housings -ie: Integra, Accord I think-)

Tested and works (This is Kevykev and I never sell substandard shit)

i'll only be checking this thread nightly so if you have questions, make sure they are logical.

$225 This is OEM Quality Shit, not after market imitations.

Serious People Only Flaking no time wasters (Yeah you, don't even post)

Yes 9006, wish i had my accord to test them the fitment on but 9006 is the closest to d2s d2r (oem hid applications). That's why the bulb's bases (plastic lining) were slightly modified.

I think the s2k is h1 but as far as bulb fitment goes "where there's a will there's a way"

Thanks for the interest guys, been holding onto these for a few but i'm willing to let the set go.

These bulbs are oem HID bulbs (D2R) But the bases have been shaved to fit a 9006 housing.

HID bulbs are only "D" no "H" or "9" only after market trash comes in halogen format.

no offense to people with aftermarket kits

Kit will be sold this weekend, so make moves or else you'll be the guy asking on monday if it's still available!

    and it won't be.

    Krappy they are d2s lol

HID ballasts are made to power d2s or d2r applications.

D2R=bulb made for a reflector housing, D2S = bulb made for a projector housing.

They are rebased to 9006, not d2s which is what your projectors take.

Since the bulbs in this kit were rebased for 9006 bulb fitments, This kit is no longer ideal for OEM HID reflector housings ie: (99-03 TL, STi, 02-03 Maxima, Altima) or OEM HID projector housings ie: (04+ TL, 04+ Maxima, or s2000 with Xenon, TSX etc)

Only thing that will be needed to make this kit completely OEM again would simply be to buy New bulbs d2r or d2s.

    not expensive at all:

Kit will hopefully have a new owner today.

    Thanks for the interest guys!
