Default b18c1 question of a life time

Ok i had this complete b18 swap up for sale so i could get a h22 for my 91 lude... but no one seems to want it even for a insanely low price of 1800 bucks... so i have decided to keep it and put it in my 91 honda prelude. SO this is where you guys come in. I need to know if this swap is even possible before i start and if so what all would it take? besides probably custom motor mounts and axles?

The swap is possible, however I believe the 91 lude came with a b20 in it and a cable tranny. The GSR will bolt in but you will have to have a converter to use the hydro tranny. The wiring is what is going to be the hard part and that will also depend on which ECU you are running. Is the GSR an OBD1 or 2?

    IT WILL NOT BOLT IN

B20 is a bastard B series fopr that year. the mount points are TOTALLY different and they share nothing with their big brother B series. H22 is actually easier than doing a b series in that car

I am with julio, sell the Prelude for like $1500-2000 and buy a EG shell and swap the motor in, much easier, much faster.

FYI 2800lbs is HEAVY , my crx weighed 2100lbs and my EG weighs 2000lbs

I agree with them. Swapping into a 91 teg can be a pain in the ass but if you have to do it I would go with the H22. If you got da cheese I would even go with a EuroAccordTypeR motor before trying a B series motor. I say put a replacement B20B motor in it, use it as a daily driver and get something else to play with.

prelude, not integra. Any b series vtec motor can be swapped into any 2nd and 3rd gen teg.
