Deangelo Hall = NFL's fastest man, and Vick is accurate

For the second straight season, the Falcons can boast of having the "NFL's Fastest Man" on their roster.

Pro Bowl cornerback DeAngelo Hall, making his first trip to Hawaii, bested three other speedsters in an exciting 40-yard-dash final that will air on ESPN Saturday night at 6 p.m.

The competition featured eight NFL players known for their speed, with two preliminary heats of four runners per heat. The top two finishers from each heat advanced to the final round. Hall nosed out division-rival Panthers' WR Steve Smith, Texans' KR Jerome Mathis and Colts' CB Bob Sanders in the final.

Last season KR/PR Allen Rossum ran away with the honor.

The Falcons will boast the NFL's Fastest Man for the second consecutive year.

QB Michael Vick registered an impressive showing in the "On The Mark" quarterback skills competition, finishing second among all NFL signal-callers behind the Seahawks' Matt Hasselbeck. Vick's performance was notable in that he finished ahead of the Colts' Peyton Manning and the Chiefs' Trent Green - known for their pinpoint passing - in the accuracy portion of the contest.

ya, someone tried to make the story too fast lmao. oh well, he still didn't do bad, just would of been nice to have braggin' rights about him beating manning in an accuracy competition, but oh well. and deangelo just BARELY won fastest man lol, the dude from the texans was closing in fast heh.

Actually, he isn't either lol. Bethel ran a 4.32 40 (michael vick actually ran a faster 40 than that), but the fastest in the entire NFL right now is Michael Whitted with a 4.24, followed by Alan Rossum with a 4.26.... The Falcons must have like the fastest over all team in the NFL... I mean we have 3 of the fastest 10 in the NFL on our team.
