    good lord. im sure he lived. concusion probalby blew him back from it.

    ive done something similar to that. put stuff in a 50 gal metal drum. put just a little gas on it, not much. but i had waited too long to light it...some fumes pocketed in areas and then exploded and blew me off my feet and back a foot or two, and shit was flying everywehre.
