I have a current contract with them right now for a little bit over a year now and I am wanting to switch to a different carrier without paying the cancellation fee.

I have either the i860 or the i730. I called nextel and asked what steps were needed to be taken in order for me to switch ownership and they said all it takes is just the other persons information.

By doing this, if you are interested in getting nextel, you wont have to pay activation charge, or buy a phone at their price.

All I am wanting is either $160 for the i860 or $75 for the i730 and your contact information which nextel will call you to figure out the personal information.
