    Default stupid question

    i have a 91 240sx that i bought 4 months ago and i was wondering if its suppose to come with a shift boot bracket cause mine didnt come with one so i was wondering is it suppose to and i also got a new shift boot from nissan and the shit doesnt fit.
    so if anyone can answer my question that would be great

    i just need to know if it comes with a shiftboot bracket like the one in the civics...the metal piece that goes around the boot so u can screw it in

    it should come with a plastic bracket that screws to the bottom of the center console. if you need one, ive got it.

    if you mean the rubber boot that bolts to the tranny tunnel then yes it uses a metal ring to hold it down and seal. if you mean the shift boot in the interior then there's a plastic ring that the stock one on mine had sewn onto it.

    ya i was wondering if there was a bracket of some sort to hold the shift boot to the radio center console....becasue i didnt know casue i had to use medical tape to hold it in...so im not sure
